Features
The Curriculum is planned and organized in a systematic, scientific manner keeping in mind the prevalent trends and requirements in the field of education. To lead them in a progressive and phased manner to derive full advantage of the ICSE syllabii.
Students are encouraged to be involved in the teaching learning process. To facilitate this, interactive activities, projects quizzes, powerpoint presentations are an integral part of the process. Dramatisation, extempore speeches, liberates students from the confinement of the conventional classroom and gives them the opportunity to draw on their own experiences and imagination, to think on their feet and develop presence of mind.
Interactive Smart Boards with Digital Content installed in all classrooms improve the presentation of content and rouse interest in the learner. Well lit and spacious classrooms provide a conducive physical environment for students to learn and explore. Canteen facilities provide healthy and hygienic nourishment of their body and a well-equipped Library provides a calm and tranquil atmosphere to quench the thirst for reading at one’s own speed and differing interest.
Pupils develop a better understanding of the subject matter as well as regular study habits through our assessment patterns. They learn time management and it enhances their ability to handle the pressure of examination.
Internal Assessment constitutes 20% marks in every subject. Projects, educational visits, assignments provides the basis for these marks. Every project provides invaluable opportunities for correlation of various elements of subject matter and its extensive research for which the child has to go beyond the content provided in the textbook.
The educational visits encourage children to gain more awareness of the place of visit as something that is seen in real can be easily perceived than something that we simply read in books.
