Modern India needs a value based education that enables the young to discern, reach out and make right choices towards themselves and others. Education should prepare leaders who will serve humanity with selfless love.
Education has to pursue cultural goals and human formation of youth. Education in the 21st Century will not be considered complete if our young people are not introduced to issues like human rights, children’s right, women’s liberation environment, need for peace and communal harmony etc. Education is not for gaining power over the other but to develop skills of relating well with others.
